Located this small badge in my drovers field yesterday. Not yet cleaned it up just a gentle rug under water with tooth brush..

Looks like some sort of masonic order? Anyone any ideas?

Paul

This could be the Fob badge of the Royal Order Of Farriers the chap on the left has a smock on and carrying a hammer.
This fob will clean up well with a small brass wire brush from the Pound Shop and polished with pure wax polish or better still buy some Renapur pure bees wax Balsam  off ebay ask Bob what my artifacts are finished off like below is the ebay link details.
Some before and after cleaning with Renapur photo's.

Randy. I too bought the wax when you first posted. The added benefit for me is its great for my riding leathers also.

Mike
This Renapur is excellent for Roman bronze artifacts & Roman bronze coins which have bronze decay it stabilises the powdery decay and prevents any further rot.

Gave the badge a little clean up. Looks far better in my hand than on the scanned image but still a good improvement eitherway.
Sorry for large pic still trying to get the little ones at the bottom
